A Survey of Mental Health of Junior College Students

Abstract

|
The purpose of this study was to investigate the mental health of Junior College students, and to analyze the variables that may be related to getting the subjects of health Human Anatomy & Physiology, Medical Terminology, General Pathology and General Public Health in Junior College curriculum.
The instrument used for this study was the Korean Mental Health questionnaire by Ko Sung Hee(1989). The subjects for this study were 269 students in Kon-ju Junior College. The data were collected from November 12, to November 24_, 1996. Data were analyzed using percentage, means, ANOVA and Cronbach´s Alpha with SAS program.
The results of this study was follow ; the mental health score showed statistically significant high according to getting subjects of health.
